Lee (Howard) Futch, President
Before opening my visual communications company twenty years a go, I was a Senior Programmer for Whitaker's Electronic Systems. Also in my past life, I was Director of Manufacturing, and a VP of Operations for Emerald Systems. That experience, plus my Masters in Business, led me to consider the benefits of owning my own business. One benefit was that I could no longer be subject to layoffs in various economic downturns. And secondly, if I was going to be working long hours, I might as well do that for myself. I can say that my decision was the right one. Signs On Time not only reflects my past systems and manufacturing background, but allows me to expand into what is unmistakeably a creative arena, adding my personal style in the process.

The vision must be followed by the venture. It is not enough to stare up the steps - we must step up the stairs. ~Vance Havner
I knew from the very beginning that we were on to something special. It was simply a matter of teamwork, and the synergy of the Sign Biz Network that allows us to service so many clients, big and lean, today.
